Drivers Programs

We have two fleets to choose from:

  • Local - Home Every Night
  • Over The Road - Home Weekends

Owner Operators - RAM Motor Freight, Inc. Lease

RAM Motor Freight, Inc. lease offers up to $1.04 per mile + fuel surcharge + bonuses. Weekly settlements with direct deposit. Comdata fuel card program and Pre-Pass devices available. Permits provided except license plates. Bobtail and Physical Damage Insurance at group rates.

Company Drivers - RAM Company Drivers

We offer company drivers up to $.37 per mile to start (depending on experience) plus safety bonuses, health benefits, 401K and two weeks paid vacation. We have well-maintained late model trucks and a family type atmosphere.

Lease Purcase Program - Rovan Lease Purchase Program

Any driver qualifying to drive for RAM Motor Freight, Inc. can also qualify to become part of the Rovan Lease Purchase Program. There is no down payment required.

In the Rovan Lease Purchase Program we offer late model conventional trucks maintained by RAM's garage.

While in the Rovan Lease Purchase Program the contract stipulates that the truck must be leased to RAM Motor Freight, Inc. The driver of the truck is treated as the owner of the truck by RAM Motor Freight, Inc. Truck payments, agreed upon in the Rovan lease, are deducted from weekly settlements. At the end of the Rovan Lease the truck is yours.

All drivers must:

  • Be at least 24 years old
  • Have CDL-A with HM endorsement (or willing to obtain)
  • Have at least two years commercial semi-truck driving experience
  • Have a good driving record for the past three years
  • Have no DUI, no Reckless Operation and/or no more than three moving violations
  • Be able to pass DOT physical and drug screen
  • Not have any pending criminal charges, nor felony and/or misdemeanor convictions
